Diane W. Hale, owner of Galloping Goose Vineyards and Farm is a life-long farmer. She has spent the better part of the last forty years exploring different facets of agriculture, and is now finding the aspect that suits this time in her life. Diane says she has “design in mind” when she speaks about her farm and how her background of knowledge in viticulture and enology has shaped her farming philosophy.
Diane is a graduate of Western Maryland College, has taught high school and worked for a time as an adjunct professor. She has two sons who have returned to the farm to work.
