The There Goes My Hero Foundation is a non-profit providing Hope and Nourishment to Leukemia patients, will conduct a bone marrow drive with the hopes of finding a match for Rodrigo Angeles-Alejandro (10 years old) and possible others needing a bone marrow transplant. All it takes is a quick cheek swab and completing a form to be listed in the Bone Marrow Registry. Rodrigo moved to Baltimore in December 2012 with his family. He is the older sibling of four, he has two sisters and one young brother. They mainly moved to the US to seek medical treatment for Rodrigo’s condition. Wil Reyes-Maldonado, Rodrigo’s school teacher at the Commodore John Rodgers Elementary School has been an advocate for finding a cure to leukemia for several years.
